Re: The KTM 390 Adventure Ownership Thread! Rear rack designs have started making their way into the market. Here is one from Advtribe. Just two bolts connecting the rack to the bike. Supplier says can hold up to 30kgs. Full specs. Base made from 4mm 304 Stainless Steel. Servus Leute, wir schauen uns eine KTM 1290 Superduke R mit Quickshifter und Stage 1 von MCE Performance an. Wirklich sehr beeindruckend was sich hier am Mot

It works perfectly fine downshifting, but whenever I go to upshift, it will only upshift one gear from where I downshift to. For example, I am in 4th and downshift to 2nd. When I go up, it will only go up to 3rd, but won't shift up to 4th, or so on. Basically, after the first shift, when I go to engage the lever up, I'm met with a stiff lever

MSC is available as a software upgrade for all the 2015+ KTM 1290's (SD and SA). I know, I have the MSC installed on my 3 1290's. MSC is not a "quick downshift", what it does is open the throttle a bit if the computer detects the rear wheel is skidding by being dragged due to too much downshift. Location: Houston, Tx. I bought my 790 ADV R today - still at the dealer as they are going to install the heated grips and cruise control. I’m on the fence on the quickshifter - I’ve never had one and can’t really visualize what it does or the benefit. I know SA has the TFT display, Quickshifter up and down. The GT, supposedly will also y October this The Quickshifter+ uses two sensors: one on the gear shift lever that detects movement on the shift rod when the rider upshifts, so the system cuts the ignition instantaneously. A second sensor detects the gear engagement, reapplies the injection and opens the butterfly valve.
#2 · Aug 6, 2021 I find the SDR's quick shifter to be quite good compared to others I've had or have (currently on a Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX). Yes, completely closed throttle for downshifts and I just keep the throttle above 4,000 rpm's and accelerating for upshifts.

Wouldnt be without Q/S now, love it and mine is actually really smooth even on gentle throttle, get the occasional jerky shift when Im not positive enough, love the downshifting too, with the MSR + MTC dont have to use brakes half as much, 10000 miles and front pads look hardly worn. #16. fuUx9.
