Stop engine. Open bonnet - to allow heat to escape, it gets very hot in there. Press clutch and accelerator fully and hold down. Start engine. Engine should gently rev to about 2-3000 rpm and hold, while DPF light flashes. Wait. Neighbours will wonder why the noise, and smell, and smoke, and why the road is melting.
