the save files are built into an odd place that looks like temp files-- Steam\userdata\52548006\205930\remote -- because these are backups of the cloud saves IIRC. deleting them can bump achieves that were stuck and it usually doesn't kill your saves, which are stored serverside if sync is enabled.
